COVID-19 UPDATE

First of all, we would like to extend our thoughts and best wishes to all who have been affected by the COVID-19 crisis. If you are sick, or caring for a sick family member, or separated from loved ones, our thoughts are with you. Especially recognized are those in the healthcare community, whose sacrifice and dedication have been genuinely inspiring.

For over 25 years, Protection Plus has always been prepared to protect the safety, security and health of our customers. Emergency preparedness has always been central to how we run our business, and how we serve you, our customers. We have long prepared for all scenarios, including what we are all now facing. We want to reassure you that we are focused on ensuring our continuity in providing all the services our customers expect. Your safety & security is our top priority.

For our Alarm Monitoring Customers: Given the life-safety nature of our business, we have received special designation from all appropriate authorities that our monitoring station employees have been designated as “essential employees.” Consequently, our monitoring station employees are exempt from any potential government action that would prevent them from working. Technology has also allowed us to safely and securely have 50% of monitoring station employees work from home if necessary, to protect the integrity of the response system. To ensure prompt emergency responses, please direct any billing, or service issues to our administration office, not the monitoring station.

For our Customers Requiring Telephone support: Our telephones and office hours remain unchanged, and we are taking extra measures to keep our staff healthy. Our sales staff are equipped to work safely and securely from home offices. We have engaged in additional cleaning and disinfecting, and we are practising the appropriate social distancing and hygiene measures.

For our Customers Requiring On-Site Sales and Service: Our telephones and office hours remain unchanged. We have an excellent complement of technicians available to do repairs, training and installations. Our Technicians and Sales staff wear FACEMASKS and/or GLOVES where appropriate. Our staff are also trained to practice all appropriate social distancing and hygiene procedures at this time. Please note all payments must be electronic our technicians will not be accepting cash.

For New Services, Upgrades and Installations: At this time, our Sales Representatives and Installation technicians remain available to provide assessments, information, quotations and installations. Pending any changes introduced by the Public Health Authorities.

At Protection Plus, the health and safety of our customers and our employees is always our top priority. Rest assured that you can focus on your business and family, while we continue to take care of your security needs.

Please note: For the protection of our staff, please notify us before we enter your home or business should you be in self-isolation, quarantine or experiencing any of the symptoms associated with COVID19. We will continue to adhere to any requirements and suggestions provided by Health Canada and local Public Health Authorities.
